Job Description:
  • Linux Engineer with AIX Experience (3-4)
    • Experienced in deploying RHEL 5x in an enterprise setting
    • Strong understanding of patch management and methods to manage it for RHEL
    • Strong knowledge of provisioning, must have experience with automate solutions for RHEL
    • Adept at designing RHEL for DR, best practices
    • Knowledgeable in leveraging ESX for RHEL
    • Solid understanding of supporting Oracle 9x, 10x & 11 on RHEL & AIX
    • Ideal candidate will have experience with SAP and Oracle RAC on RHEL
    • Needs to have design and build of Directory Services for Linux, AIX, Solaris with AD Integration
    • Must have experience creating / implementing a monitoring strategy for Linux platform
    • Should be familiar with Satellite server
    • Must be familiar with HACMP 5.x
    • Must be familiar with VIO
    • Practical experience in AIX versions 5.3 and 6.1
    • Ideally will have migrated from 5.2 to 5.4 for HACMP
    • Has experience with NIM setup and maintenance
    • Likely will have experience with micro partitioning
    • HMC version 7

 

  • Oracle Engineer (1-2)
    • Must have experience with Oracle 10 RAC on RHEL
    • Expert in file system design relative to Oracle performance
    • Has led an effort to drive standards across the enterprise with regards to Oracle

 

  • SQL Engineer (1)
    • Knowledge of SQL Server in a VM environment
    • Knowledge of Backup and Monitoring and best practices
    • Should be expert level in SQL design strategy, capable of developing a 3 year vision on how best to support SQL growth
    • Preferably would have experience in migrating from 00-05-08

 

  • SAP Landscape Virtualization Expert (1)
    • Should be familiar with virtualization of the DB using Oracle RAC
    • Should be familiar with SAP ACC (Adaptive Computing Controller)
    • Should understand the complexities of moving from a combined DB/CI environment to a separate DB/CI configuration
    • Expertise installing SAP applications on the Linux platform and tuning accordingly

 

  • ESX Engineer (1)
    • Should be familiar with deploying Windows 200x and Linux in the VM Farm
    • Detailed research, planning, and execution of physical to virtual (P2V) migrations utilizing VMware Converter
    • Research, development, and implementation of VMware Consolidated backup leveraging Legato Networker.
    • Review, research, recommend, design, and implement additional security in the management of the VMware infrastructure environment
      •   (i.e. snmp, sudo, syslog, and etc.)
    • Assist with the design and building of a VMware based testing environment
    • Should have experience in developing a monitoring / reporting strategy for the ESX farm
    • Design and implementation of branch VMware ESX host leveraging VMware Foundation Edition.
    • Develop and deploy Windows 2008 VMware Template in support of branch domain controllers

 

  • Windows Engineer (1)
    • Windows 2000, 2003, 2008 installation, configuration, and administration in an Enterprise Environment.
    • Clear understanding of Windows Security.
    • Experience with automated deployment of Windows systems.
    • Understanding of High Availability and Disaster Recovery strategies.
    • Experience in Virtualization, especially with VMware Infrastructure 3 and vSphere 4.
    • Detailed understanding of advanced Windows Services including: Terminal Services, IIS Server, Application Servers, Exchange, and SQL.
    • Experience with MS Clustering, Storage Area Networks, Citrix Metaframe, and VBScripting/PowerShell a plus.
    • Working knowledge of standards, change management, network security and audit
