Duties and Responsibilities:

 

The Vice President, Intelligence Sector will report directly to the Vice President & General Manager  Federal Division. As a Vice President of the Federal Division’s Intelligence Sector, candidate will be primarily responsible for managing the Intelligence Sector operational directorates within the Federal Division. The Intelligence Sector Vice President will be responsible for performing all management and supervisory functions necessary to ensure proper operational success, to include; liaison with all government customers, Contracting Officer Representatives and Contracting Officer Technical Representatives. Daily responsibilities include:

 

· Managing the Intelligence Operation Directors to enable the work and performance of all  employees within the Intelligence Sector.

· Monitoring all expense reports, timesheets, time off requests, educational reimbursement requests, travel requests, military leave and other official correspondence and emails pertaining to employee issues and work status.

· Defining, articulating, and delivering strategic leadership for the prioritization, development and delivery of  Intelligence Sector capabilities (organization, process & tools) required to meet customer needs.

· Providing liaison with all primes and subs who either supports or support  contractual requirements.

· Communicating operational plans and progress with corporate management on a regular basis.

· Keeping current with the direction and the needs of  existing customers. Reviewing the submission of monthly and quarterly reports to the contracting officer, as required.

· Establishing and maintaining excellent inter-department communication so that roles, requirements, dependencies, decisions, and work processes are clearly articulated and understood.

· Maintain  high-quality standards for the organization and implementing quality initiatives.

· Developing, directing, coordinating, evaluating, counseling, and training staff.

· Coordinating budget requirements, performance measurements, staff plans and resource allocations with corporate management.

· Monitoring and administering operational budgets and expenditures.

The Vice President of the Intelligence Sector is also responsible for implementing the Intelligence Sector’s Business Development and Marketing activities, and will be responsible for:

 

· Acting as lead Business Development (BD) and Bid & Proposal Manager for the Intelligence Sector.

· Coordinating Intelligence Sector Business Development efforts and B&P requests with Vice President of Business Development.

· Participating in  Long Range Strategic Planning process.

· Conduct Intelligence Sector’s business (opportunity) case and market analysis to support  Long Range Planning.

 

Basic Qualifications

 

· BS degree in Operational Research or Intelligence related field preferred

· Twelve or more years of Military Intelligence Community experience

· Experience working with the Sector (department) level business objectives

· Thorough Knowledge of Defense and Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR/FAR)

· Experience with DoD issued RFP, proposal, contract processes.
