Job Description:

The Manager, Deployment - IT  is responsible for all facets of product and customer-focused application management and solution delivery through the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) in support of the business’s objectives.

Finance and Controlling SAP Focus (FI/CO/PA/Product Costing)

Specific Responsibility Areas:
1. Leadership – Challenge designs and provide solutions, take ownership of issues to the end, partner with business leaders to help them execute their business processes without issue (e.g., using SAP). Partner, Teach, and Assist business leaders in execution of their end to end scope of business.
2. Internal Consulting- Advise business unit leaders concerning Information Technology with focus on SAP delivery and pre-post cutover support issues and advise them on proper IT methodology used to deploy successful solutions.
3. Quality of Solution – Increase the quality of the solution being deployed (e.g., SAP) through proven techniques in Training, Process Analysis, Testing, Data Migration, and Troubleshooting.
4. Process Orientation: Utilize and champion proven process analysis and waste removal methods such as Lean, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Cross Functional Swim Lane Diagramming, 5S and 6-Sigma. Be a study of industry best practices for process management. Lead the team in the identification, development, and implementation of processes enabled by business systems/application technologies to meet functional, business unit, and/or corporate objectives.
5. Coaching: Contribute toward the skill development and leadership potential of every team member including business resources and business process owners (BPO’s).
6. Plan and Project Management- Maintain an active and realistic Project Plan against the demands of the matrix’ed team. Contribute towards ensuring quality in planning, design, development, and implementation of all IT projects. All projects will leverage client’s enterprise System Development Life Cycle (SDLC), project management tools, best practices and processes, standards, etc. Manage projects to achieve solution excellence and a high level of internal and external customer satisfaction, with delivery on time and within budget. Provide step-wise estimates for complex application changes designed to support business initiatives.
7. Customer Service- “Delight” the customer. Direct the training and support provided for all users of Information Technology. Works cooperatively with Corporate Shared Services group to assure high quality IT service delivery. Maintains and communicates awareness of Service Level Agreements (SLA’s).
8. Operations-Contribute to the secure and continuous operation and maintenance of the application delivery computing and networking infrastructure. Integrate with and leverage the resources of the Corporate Service Delivery and System Engineering teams.
9. Compliance and Risk Management- Collaborate with IT Directors and Managers and the CIO-MAS regarding Sarbanes-Oxley Act and other relevant statutory and regulatory compliance. Co-Develop policies, procedures and plans for Information Security, Information Privacy, IT Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity.
10. IT Governance-Contribute toward setting enterprise-wide IT strategy, architecture, processes, procedures, and standards.

Education/Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree is required. A focus on information technology, computer science, or a related field is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 8 years working in the IT Field
• Minimum of 7 years SAP deployment experience across multiple modules with demonstrated success in enabling businesses to operate with SAP
• Proven record of excellent project management
