1.) Subject Matter Expert I

  Provides expert guidance and insight into a specific operational, technology or functional area (e.g., Architectural development and maintenance, systems management, financial management, C2, Supply chain management, etc.) and/or multi, cross-discipline functional, operational or technology areas where subject matter expertise is needed. Contributes ideas and serves a liaison to other functional areas; applies methods and knowledge of the respective functional area to develop strategies and processes for specific requirements. Conducts evaluations and analysis, interprets analysis results, develops and recommends creative and innovative solutions to customer problems and advises management regarding solutions and recommendations.

Required Training and/or Professional Certifications: Bachelor's Degree in technical, business or other related disciplines required; certification in DoDAF Architecture Development (desired); minimum of two years of architecture experience required.

2) Analyst/Specialist

  Performs tasks associated with implementation of DoDAF Architectural techniques, procedures and/or criteria as they apply to architecture development and maintenance functions on the contract. Uses knowledge and functional domain expertise to perform analyses, prepares inputs to program documentation, and reports relative to particular architecture task. Identifies and reports on issues or related problems and potential risks; recommends risk mitigation actions.

Jr. Analyst /Specialist

Required Training and/or Professional Certifications: For Prin: Masters Degree; certification in DoDAF Architecture Development (desired); minimum of two years of architecture experience required. Others. Bachelors in technical, business or other related discipline required

The criteria for substitution of educational degrees and/or experience are stated below:

(1) Education Substituted for Experience: Formal education may substitute for related general and specialized experience. A Bachelors degree may substitute for four (4) years of experience. A Masters degree may substitute for two (2) years of experience. A Ph.D. degree may substitute for two (2) years of experience.

(2) Experience Substituted for Formal Education: Related general experience may substitute for formal education. Two (2) years of additional related experience may substitute for an Associates Degree. Four (4) years of additional related experience may substitute for a Bachelor Degree. Two (2) additional years of related experience with similar functional responsibilities may substitute for a Master’s Degree.

(3) Each Professional Certification related to the field of expertise required is equivalent to two years of specialized and related general experience.
