Company: YOH Location: St. Louis, MO Status: Permanent Salary: Market Close Date: Permanent Job Description: Director, Global HR Information Management Job Description The Director Global HR Information Management will be responsible for the development, implementation, refinement, and coordination of enterprise-wide human resources processes and systems to ensure operational effectiveness and services delivery. Leveraging our existing and new technologies, this leader will be responsible for driving innovation and process improvement to support long term Global HR and business goals. The successful applicant must have broad experience in HR and Talent Management systems with demonstrated depth of knowledge in building core HR systems for a global employee base that goes well beyond standard package implementation. This is a highly collaborative role that will work cross-functionally with HR, Finance, Payroll, IT, and Customer Support to understand the business issues and then translate them to create real solutions that address current needs and future state vision. Finally, the right candidate must excel at working and influencing in a collaborative environment, and will mentor and develop the Global HR Technology team to an industry-leading level. Responsibilities: Lead strategy to drive automation for all HR functions through a hub and spoke system platform model. Major technology priorities include: Partner with leadership to drive the HR information and technology roadmap forward while helping manage related organizational change to ensure successful post implementation and user adoption Responsible for utilizing resources to execute on HR strategy including HR process and technology to insure efficient use of technology dollars and HR staff Serve as advisor between business leadership, HR partners, and vendors to assess and measure performance and implement modifications, updates and enhancements to meet business critical needs. Evaluate new system functionality as available and continuously improve process and utilization of technology Partnering with cross-functional departments, identify and document business needs and assist in re-designing and streamlining future business processes for the shared services delivery model Partner with Global HR Business Partners in the design and deployment of the HR metrics dashboard, ensuring the data model supports corporate metrics Work closely with global HR teams to ensure complex, country specific requirements are met. Develop system procedures that support governmental regulations such as Affirmative Action, Sarbanes-Oxley, SAS70, etc. Lead cross-functional process improvements across the HR Team that increase customer service and satisfaction. Design systems and processes which ensure integrity and security of critical employee data Lead and develop team of high potential business and systems analysts and project managers. Ensure development of effective user guides & training documentation. Provide training and support for end users. Ensure effective Change Management practices for all project work HR portal development and deployment Global HRIS standardization, deeper deployment of manager and employee self service Global Benefits and Payroll administration Talent Management platform design, implementation, and maintenance Talent Acquisition system deployment and maintenance Compensation automation Required Skills/Experience: 8-10 yrs experience as an HRIS Director/VP or similar function Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree preferred. Previous experience managing complex HR technology portfolio with demonstrated results required, global experience heavily preferred. Deep understanding of HRMS data and integration architecture (Workday is a plus) Understanding of SOX procedures and requirements as related to systems and process Experience in working with global clients and end users, general understanding of local customs and cultures Able and willing to travel Experience with designing/testing/deploying complex system interfaces. Knowledge and understanding of HR business functions, including reporting, benefits, talent management, leadership development, mobility, and compensation.
